Made always with love in Hawaii, the land of sun & aloha....
Everything I create is original & one of a kind functional art. I love art in every shape & form but when it's functional, it does double duty. I am forever inspired by the beauty of nature & the culture of this wonderful world. All materials sourced are either vintage, recycled or eco-friendly in nature honoring my commitment to an environmentally sustainable business practice. I spend many many countless hours putting all my love into each & every piece I make starting from hand picking the fabric, hand washing & line drying, designing, drafting & cutting the pattern to sewing, stitching, ironing, hammering, stamping…. As with a lot of vintage or recycled materials, there are inherent markings that some may consider "flaws" ~ I personally find that it's these beautiful little "scars" that give each piece it's own special character, imparting a uniqueness that I could not create with a “perfect”, pristine brand new piece of fabric. I love the perfection of imperfection and I don't discard fabrics due to these "scars". Please keep this perspective in mind if you are thinking of purchasing any of my goods.
